Aone Supermarkets now accepts mMoney

Carlton and Emerald City supermarkets, two megastore locations of the Aone Supermarkets chain, now accept mMoney payments.

Aone Supermarkets went public as an mMoney Merchant on November 9th, 2018. mMoney agents are at both locations inviting customers to download the convenient mobile payments app. The app is free to download and Aone Supermarkets is offering free WiFi so customers will not incur data charges.

Aone Supermarkets is the first major supermarket chain to embrace the Barbados-founded mMoney app and Reva Graham, Marketing Manager of Aone Supermarkets, was pleased to be at both the Black Rock and Six Roads locations for the mMoney launch. “We are excited to welcome mMoney as a payment method at our supermarkets and our customers are just as keen to have the option to pay for groceries using the app”. Graham continued, “Aone Supermarkets is a homegrown Bajan brand with a strong commitment to the communities which we serve. It is with this in mind that we are proud to partner with mMoney, another Bajan brand, to make shopping more efficient for our customers through innovation”.

As a growing company, mMoney sought to partner with the supermarket chain with the strongest presence in the fastest growing parish in Barbados”, Hartman further revealed.
